User Instructions
PLEASE READ

LIGHTS

The light switch in the large room (to right of entry doors) will turn on a small light to see in the room. Additional lights must be turned on in the northeast mechanical room. The switch marked primary will turn on 10 lights and will make a loud bang when switched on. If additional lights are needed for your event an additional set of lightscan be turned on with the switch marked.Not all lights will come on with this switch, some are intentionally turned off to conserve power costs. To shut off the lights, the above process must be repeated.

Outside Lightscan be turned on in the receiving room (north of kitchen) to left of double doors but will only come on after dark. Some of the Hall and Kitchen lights are security lights and do not have a switch and can be left on.

Washroom Lightsare on a motion switch. These don't normally get turned off but may have been by a prior user. If this is the case they can be turned on by depressing the small button on the top of the switch.

HEATING

The Thermostat is located in the hallway and both manual buttons in the Northwest mechanical room. This Thermostat is programmed to heat/cool during the time it is normally scheduled for use. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE ANY OF THESE SETTINGS!!!

AIR-CONDITIONING

Same procedures as heating above.

DOORS

The biggest key will unlock the front or side door. The Hex key is needed to lock the panic bar in the depressed position to allow entry from the outside without a key. You will need to take the following steps to unlock the front door:

To unlock the door for your event:

  1. Insert the hex key in the small hole next to the end of the panic bar. (towards middle of panic (push) bar)
  2. Depress the panic bar and turn the hex key to lock the bar in the Depressed position and remove hex key.

To lock doors after your event:

Insert the hex key and turn to release the panic bar. The doors will now Be locked from the outside. Check to make sure outside door from The kitchen is also locked!

CHAIRS AND TABLES

The following chairs and tables are available from the center storage room:

160 stacking chairs

80 steel folding chairs

20 round folding tables 13 square folding tables

Hand cards are provided for moving the stacking chairs and round tables from Storage. 1 Cart is provided for folding chairs and 1 flat cart for the 8 foot tables.Please return all equipment to its original location and do not stack chairs higher than 8,

CLEANUP EQUIPMENT

Items needed for cleanup are provided in the Northwest mechanical room. Your Deposit will be held until satisfactory cleanup is completed either by you or

by someone hired with your deposit money. A dumpster is provided on the north side through double doors from kitchen area. A dumpster key is included on your ring. Refund will be made within 21 days if building is returned to satisfactory condition.

FIRE ALARM

If a false alarm sounds on the fire alarm due to cooking activities, the control panel must be reset. The control panel is in the Northeast mechanical room. To Reset: open the red control panel door and press the reset button.

BASKETBALL EQUIPMENT

End baskets can be pulled flush to wall by pulling with a rod or broom handle. (Both units will move to the west only). Side baskets can be cranked up or clown with hand cranks.
