Onsite, in Cumberland Furnace, TN has a full-time Admission Specialist position available.
Job Summary:
The Admissions Specialist is responsible for selling and educating referents and the public on Onsite programs, services and referral relations.
Qualifications:
High school education with college level training preferred
Office experience preferred
Superior organization skills
PR and client service skills
Excellent communication skills
Self-starter, highly self-motivated
12 Step/recovery/counseling knowledge helpful
Superior phone etiquette and communication skills
Minimum to intermediate word & excel skills
Experience in mental health treatment field preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the 4DX (WIG)process
- Actively participate both in obtaining CARF accreditation and maintaining CARF accreditation by assisting in all requests in a timely manner including training and being aware of and adhering to Policies and Procedures
- Responsible for sharing in overall intake & admissions process
- Assess and determine appropriate program placement for clients
- Problem solves and makes decisions for incoming client special needs, etc.
- Data Entry: Call Log & Best Notes.
- Follow up with interested clients, therapists, and referents
- Coordinate cases with Admissions Director and Vice President of Admissions to ensure proper programming is in place.
- Be in the on-call rotation for after hours and weekend admission calls as needed.
- Assess and make recommendations for program enhancement
- Meet with professionals to present our services via phone, office visits, Skype, email, etc.
- Continue to gain extensive knowledge and experience of therapeutic processes and services and the ability to communicate in a professional manner
- Travel as needed
- Review client evaluations to ensure satisfaction is there and make recommendations accordingly
- Participate in program openings and closings as needed
- Support office, clinical staff, and group leaders as needed
- Work with the Onsite Foundation board to evaluate and process scholarship applications
- Other duties as assigned and/or needed.
