Please note that students are responsible for their own transportation to and from the exam site.
Hereford High School WILL NOT be providing transportation.
Testing Locations: You will be advised of specific exam testing locations in April. Most AP exams will be administered at Hereford United Methodist Church and the Hereford Volunteer Fire Hall. In some cases, AP exams will be administered at Hereford High School or at the Weisburg Church.
Arrival Time: Please plan to arrive at the testing site indicated 30 minutes prior to the exam start time. Morning exams begin promptly at 8:00 AM and end at approximately 11:30 AM. Afternoon exams begin at 12:00 PM and end at approximately 3:30 PM. Please note that some exams may run longer, so end times are approximate. Students arriving late will not be allowed to test once the exam begins, so please be prompt! Please be sure to arrange transportation well in advance and have a backup plan!
Lateness to an exam will NOT be an acceptable reason to request testing at a later date.
Late testing is only granted for conflicting exam times, or for extreme emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.
Cell Phone Policy:
The College Board has imposed a strict policy forbidding cell phones and other electronic devices in the testing rooms. All electronic devices, including cell phones must be labeled with the student’s identifying information and will be secured by the exam proctor and will only be returned after testing has been completed. If a student uses a cell phone, MP3 player, PDA or any other electronic or communication device in the testing room or during a break, the device will be confiscated and the student dismissed from testing. The test will be invalidated.
Refunds:
If you decide not to take a test you registered for, you will be refunded $67 per test. Once you begin a test, you cannot receive a refund.
Lunch: Please make sure to bring a lunch to the testing site if you are taking 2 exams on the same day.
If you have two exams on the same day at the same time, please see Mrs. Schwartz or Ms. Fitzkee immediately.
