The recipient of this scholarship must meet the following criteria:

  • Is graduating from high school with the class of 2011.
  • Is applying to or accepted by a program at any South Dakota technical institute, OR applying to or accepted into one of the following fields at any South Dakota university: Health, Business, Trade and Industry, Marketing, Agricultural Education, and Family Consumer Science Education.
  • He/she will be a full time post-secondary student during the 2011-12 school year.
  • Has demonstrated scholastic achievement.

Recipients of the scholarship will be notified no later than July 1,2011. Recipients are asked to attend the SDACTE Awards banquet the evening of Monday, August 1, 2011, in Pierre to receive the scholarship.
