Here is the recap and to do's from our last meeting.

- All Board members must review and comment on the attached October minutes. Please let me know if you have any questions or edits. Tom O'C and I have approved.

- Admin:

•Communications - Dawn, Alison, Pat & Craig will send a December newsletter which is effectively registration and key date reminders

•Website - Can you all please review and let us know if there are any inconsistencies. Craig will update the 2015 program information tab.

•Background checks are now part of our process. Melissa/David will make sure they are properly set up on the website for all Board members, travel coaches and key HL coaches. This will be messaged at PCA night.

- Fees

•Fees for 2015 will be as follows - $200 for K- 2nd grade HL (2 sessions); $250 for 3rd/4th grade HL/clinic only (3 sessions); $400 for 3rd/4th grade travel; $450 for 5th - 8th grade travel

•We are trying to balance pricing an affordable product with growth considerations. We will review yearly, as usual.

- 3d

•Tactical - Please review the field grid which took great time and effort by Alison. It tries to balance many things and there will clearly be compromises. Pat and Alison will have a December meeting with 3d for final season implementation plan. We also need to get our Sunday "specialization" sessions right so we need your input. All input is welcome. Please review materials provided at last meeting.

•Strategic - Bob will make recommendations at the winter meetings for our future path. It is evident that we need continued outside help.

- Succession planning and governance

•Ed and ET will help vet/interview Advisory Board recommendations. Pat will provide them with list discussed at the board with brief bios. Those who step up will have "functional and responsible" roles in GYL. Melissa Anderson (GA) and David Bruce (Brunswick) will be placed on the AB.

•Sam Cleaves, Melissa Price, Katie Johnson, Todd Wilkowski, Lawrence Calcano & Kevin Burke under consideration.

•GYL Alumni Council. Bob's brilliant recommendation for outreach will require all of us to make sure we connect to all GYL alums. Pat and Alison will host a "young coaches" night at Pat's house in January as a start. Cristin McGuinn, Lexi Hearn and Nikhil (Nanu) Ashra are potentials chairs.

•All aspects of our program will need to be reviewed for proper succession planning. Winter meeting discussion.

- Bruce Park Sports (BPS) and website - During the holidays, swing by BPS and check out how Mark Bizanso has transformed the store. It looks awesome and we need to support him!

- Next meeting and Holiday Partywill be on Monday, December 15th at 6 pm for this group. Spouses/significant others come at 7 pm. Alison will allocate "food/drink" responsibilities.
