Here is a summary of the training requirements for Food Service Personnel
- Training Requirements
- Program Directors (the person in charge of the Food Service Program for your RCCI, school, or District)
15-16 school year 8 hours of annual training
16-17 school year 12 hours of annual training
- Program Managers (the person managing the food service program at a location that is under the director)
15-16 school year 6 hours of annual training
16-17 school year 10 hours of annual training
- Program Staff (staff without managerial responsibilities who are involved in day-to-day operations; cooks, cashiers, those involved in eligibility determinations, meal counting and claiming, and support staff that may have an impact on food safety) Custodians would not be required to meet the training standards.
15-16 school year 4 hours of annual training
16-17 school year 6 hours of annual training

- State Agency Requirements
- A minimum of 18 hours of training to Schools annually
- June Wyoming SNA conference training counts toward following year
- Fall Food Service Directors Meeting training hours will count
- Upcoming State Agency 30 minute modules will be available for schools on the specified dates. These will be recorded and available at any time. More information will be coming on access to these trainings. There are many more topic areas that will be released in the future.
