HELPING OTHERS / PUTTING OTHERS FIRST

V. Ryan © 2006

Many people in our society think of themselves first and others second. They are unlikely to consider the well-being of others and usually think that they are the most important person of all.
1. Have you ever acted in a selfish manner? For example, pushing in at the front of a queue or eating a chocolate bar secretly so that you do not have to share it with friends. Describe your experience below. /
When I as younger eated chocolate secretly, and thats all

4. Draw a rich picture with ‘Helping Others’ as the central theme. An example is shown below. Add pictures, drawings and colour to improve the presentation.
The picture below shows Jeff. He is mean and nasty and usually only thinks of himself. He is often seen pushing his way to the front of the dinner queue. In the available space write statements aimed at persuading Jeff to be helpful to others and to put others first, for a change.
In the space below write a story about a pupil the same age as yourself. The story must clearly show how helping others helps him / her to become the most popular pupil in school.
HINT: He/she could help a fellow pupil injured on the football field OR help an important visitor in school to find his/her way to the School Office (the visitor turns out to be the owner of the local chocolate factory). Think of a meaningful title for your story.
Last month there was a child in the school called Rober, he has selfish and always pushed to the people. One day his mum got a note from the school that he was expelled, his mum was very ungry because he got expelled because he always shouting in the class and kiking others.
He sasid he was doinf that because he was angry with teachers about his calification.
His mum put him in other school and he started helping the teacher and having good cualification and he started heliping at home.
His mum was so happy with him.
