Help be the answer to prayer for more laborers for God’s harvest as a MISSIONS COACH

The Missions Coach will contribute to the purpose of TEAM by bringing about increased commitment to and involvement with missions generally and TEAM in particular. This will be done by

o  casting a compelling missions vision for those presently unengaged in missions

o  coaching those presently moving towards missionary service

o  resourcing the local church in their efforts to mobilize their own people towards missionary service

The successful Missions Coach will be a person who

·  loves God and people with a fervency that provokes a passion for missions

·  has prior missions experience

·  has previous recruitment experience (preferred)

·  can effectively relate the importance of missions in individual and group settings

·  communicates effectively in writing

·  is able to appropriately manage relationships with potential missionaries

·  can work effectively as part of a Mobilization Hub Team, yet function well independently

·  will be comfortable interacting with pastors and church staff

·  demonstrates enough technological proficiency to

·  effectively manage a heavy email load

·  communicate through video conferencing

·  keep accurate records of inquiries, meetings, etc.

·  can keep track of the details involved in setting up events, follow-up with reports, etc.

·  is able to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Responsibilities/Activities include but are not limited to

·  stay informed of needs and opportunities within TEAM

·  respond quickly and appropriately to inquiries

·  actively maintain relationships with potential missionaries

·  wisely coach inquirers as they seek and obey God’s direction

·  work with potential missionaries to identify appropriate opportunities within TEAM

·  work with field missionaries to coach inquirers toward appropriate opportunities

·  handle necessary logistics for any travel, events, etc.

·  record activities and interaction with contacts according to established procedures
