Hello and welcome to GAVFEST LIVE! 2005. I am Corinn Lichblau with my co host, Greg Davis

Greg: Today’s show is bringing Gavfest the second annual Spring Festival on the Gavilan College Campus, your community college, with live entertainment here in the Gavilan College Studio.
We will have up to the minute special reports from our teams of videographers roving the Gavilan Campus during Gavfest. The video team will be bringing up to the minute family fun happening on the Gavilan college campus.

Corinn: So sit back and enjoy the show, or better yet come on over to your community college, Gavilan College and enjoy the day with great weather, great music and entertainment for the whole family.

Greg: The college faculty, students and staff have opened the doors to introduce you to the educational and cultural possibilities here on campus. The Gavilan Student Center will present information about financial aid, graduation requirements, enrollment and advising. It’s a great opportunity to learn how to get a degree. Here is look at what is happening in the Student Center.

Corinn: Gavfest is just getting started so grab the kids and come on down to Gavfest. Admission is free and so it the parking. There will be raffles throughout the day. You can win tickets to Bonfante Gardens, Rocky Horror and Summer STAR productions. For the children there will be children’s books and lots of other suprises. The final raffle of the day is for Gavilan Students to win hundreds of dollars in Book Voucher scholarships. You must be present to win. So don’t wait a minute longer.

Corinn: Our next guests in the studio are here to talk about the Gavilan. Summer Theatre Arts Repertory. STAR is celebrating it’s 20th year this year. The program offered through Community Education introduces youth to the performing arts through workshops and productions. STAR is offered on the Gavilan Campus, Morgan Hill Site and new this year in San Juan Bautista at the El Teatro Campesino Playhouse. With me To are:
