Assessment tools:

The Students’ progress was assessed throughout each term through topic tests and assignment tasks, as well as regular review of weekly homework sheets.

Progress:

Comment on individual strengths/weaknesses detected in particular topics or indicators.

Suggestions for improvement:

If the students’ Knowledge and Procedure are poor in particular topics – suggest use of Consolidation worksheets for those sections.

If there are ‘gaps’ in the student’s knowledge of past work – suggest use of the Replay worksheets.

If Homework worksheets were not always done – explain the value of these as regular review of current work, revision of past skills and problem solving practice.

If a student struggles with problem solving – suggest problem solving questions from the Homework sheets be attempted with greater determination.

If a students’ presentation and working out is set out poorly – suggest student mimic the worked examples more closely, or use headings or tables to clarify working.
