Job Title: Systems Analyst July 2016

Position Summary

The Systems Analystis responsible for application implementation, support, report writing, and system administration duties for our medical, financial, and other corporate business systems.The Systems Analyst reports to the Director of Information Technology.

Primary Responsibilities/Duties

  • Implements NextGen package including design, configuration, testing, training, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Provides system administrative support including product user security and other maintenance-related activities for NextGen.
  • Works closely with members of each department and site to develop requirements for new reports. Will either be directly responsible for or work with department resources for report creation.
  • Identifies, defines, and implements new processes as required to meet business needs defined by the client.
  • Is available to answer pages or calls in order to provide consistent customer service during non-traditional business hours.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Qualifications (Education/Experience)

  • An Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science is required. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable multi-tasking in a role that interfaces with various levels of the organization, including Senior Management and site personnel. Will interact with vendors and IT personnel from the Maine Primary Care Association.
  • Requires a minimum of three years related experience. Must have excellent customer service skills as well as familiarity with clinical and practice management processes.
  • Must have word processing skills, and experience with Crystal Reports and SQL Queries.

NextGen Technical Support required (post-hire training and completion of certification program is acceptable).

  • A+ Hardware-Certified and Crystal Report Writer-Certified preferred.

•Completes all annual required trainings including, but not limited to, safety, HIPAA, sexual harassment, and other trainings.

•Is punctual and adheres to HRCHC attendance policies.
