Title of Post:Audio Typist / Administrator
Location:BradfordCity Centre
Hours:18.5 Hours per week
Salary:SCP15 - 18 £16,054 - £17,161 per annum pro rata dependent on experience
1)Purpose of the Post
The Post-holder will offer, in the main,administration support and audio typing,to the Employment Discrimination Service of Bradford Law Centre, funded by the Big Lottery. but to other workers at Bradford Law Centre as required. The post will involve dealing with clients and organisations within the Bradford Metropolitan district, as well as various administrative tasks.
2)Duties and Responsibilities
You will:
a)Provide administrative support to the Big Lottery funded Employment Discrimination Advice Worker, including taking messages, arranging meetings, liaising with organisations, audio typing support and other administrative tasks as required.
b)Support caseworkers by audio typing letters, statements and documents (all to a high standard), on occasion to tight deadlines.
c)Carry out administrative tasks as required, including photocopying, taking telephone calls, taking messages, dealing with post, emailing and faxing other parties/agencies, utilising email and the internet for research, if necessary.
d)Use the Casetrack system to open files, enter time spent and other details, close files at their conclusion, and any other necessary work.
e)Assist in the collation of reports and statistical information for funders, as required.
f)Provide back-up cover for reception, with appropriate training provided, when necessary.
g)Provide induction training for new staff members and volunteers in your area of expertise and in conjunction with colleagues
h)Maintain a tidy and well organised office environment,
i)Carry out other administrative support tasks as required by the Law Centre, subject to priorities.

b)To attend regular supervision meetings with your supervisor and discuss job performance and personal career development.
