medication and health

4.3 Discuss their/his own role in relation to medication and healthcare tasks to include examples
of responsibilities s/he holds and examples of tasks s/he is not allowed to carry out at the current stage of training.
5. Know how to reduce
the spread of
infection
/ 5.1 Discuss ways to reduce the spread of infection including the main routes by which an
infection can get into the body.
5.2 Discuss the most thorough method for hand washing; when hands must be washed and why
hand-washing is important

s/he supports, or to other people at work
5.4 Assess the range of personal protective clothing and equipment
