ORDER INFORMATION
Ordering
- Minimum order is 1/4 kilogram for rod & cane, 1/2 kilogram of powder or frit. Minimum casting order is 1 lb for frit and 1 lb for billet. Internet and fax orders accepted.
- Zimmermann and Reichenbach colors can be combined for quantity discounts.
- Orders are priced by actual weight. Weight may vary from your ordered quantity by as much as 1/4 kilo either way.
- Prices are subject to change without notice.
- Periodic Sales are limited to stock on hand, no backorders.
Payment
- Cash, checks, debit cards, American Express, VISA, MasterCard, and the Discover Card. A $30 fee is assessed on ALL returned checks.
- Businesses and individuals operating in the State of Washington must provide a resale tax certificate to purchase wholesale.
*Return Policy
- Returns accepted 30 days from date of shipment without a restocking fee. Product must be in original containers with factory labels. Rods must be marked with color number and not less than ¼ kilo. Damaged goods and unlabeled materials will notbe accepted for credit. NO RETURNS AFTER 60 DAYS. NOEXCEPTIONS.
- Returns over 30 days from date of shipment will be assessed a 15% restocking fee. Returns NOT PURCHASED from OCR will be returned to the sender at customer expense.
- Please call for a Return Authorization before returning any product. After receiving and weighing the merchandise, Olympic Color Rods will issue a credit towards your next order.
- If the color purchased fails the trident seal test with your clear glass, you have 90 days to exchange the color for a REPLACEMENT. Make sure to test each color prior to production. Test samples must be submitted before any return is authorized.
Back Orders
- If an item is back ordered, we will contact you either by telephone or by email. You are not charged for back ordered items your item is packed and ready to ship. Shipping charges will be applied when back orders are shipped.
Shipping Policy
- Items in stock ship within 48 hours of receipt of order.
- Shipping charges are additional.
- As our products are sold by weight, we are unable to calculate shipping costs until your order is fully packed and ready to ship. Our preferred shipping method is Federal Express. We have arranged discounted rates with Fed Ex and are able to pass those savings along to our customers. However, if another shipping method is requested we will be able to accommodate the request if possible (please note: for your protection, we will not use any shipping method that does not provide a tracking service).
- For Overnight, Two Day, and Three Day Select shipping, please call before 1:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. All Express packages require a signature at delivery or a signature on file with UPS or FedEx.
- FedEx shipments to a residential address do not require a signature and will be left at the shipping address, even if unattended, unless signature service is requested by the customer. There is no additional fee for this service. Olympic Color Rods is not liable for lost packages. We will be happy to coordinate any claims with the shipper for damaged or lost packages. In the event of a damaged package, please retain the box and all shipping materials in case the shipper requires inspection of the shipment.
Important Note to Our International Customers
- Customers are responsible for paying all duties and taxes to the shipper. They are not part of your order total. A $25 service charge will be assessed in addition to the duties and tax total if OCR is required to re-bill the customer for these fees. The credit card used for the original order will be automatically charged for these fees and service charges if the shipper is not paid directly.
- We are happy to accommodate requests for shipping via the Postal Service using Global Express Mail, however please be aware that due to the complexity of the GEM process, a handling fee of $10 per package will be assessed.
