Vacancy: KS2 Teacher

Meade Hill School are looking to appoint aninspirational and highly motivated KS2 Teacherto further develop a new and exciting primary provision. You must have a successful track record of working with children with a wide range of educational and behavioural needs and be committed to inclusion; providing an outstanding education for all pupils.

The successful candidate must be:

  • An experienced and creative primary teacher with excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • An outstanding practitioner, able to act as role model and build positive relationships with all staff and pupils,with exemplary behaviour management skills
  • A highly motivated classroom practitioner with a good understanding of the New Primary Framework whoexcels in planning, teaching and marking; in addition is committed to maximising pupil progress through the setting and evaluating of clear and focused targets
  • A team player who is able to motivate, lead, support and challenge others but also workindependently with great effect
  • A teacher with the creativityand drive to contribute to the development of our school and with the vision and enthusiasm to support Meade Hill in becoming an outstanding provision for children with SEBD
  • A teacher committed to the inclusion of children with special educational needs,with a proven track record in helping the most challenging of pupils improve their behaviour and achieve academically
  • An experienced practitioner who understands the importance of providing a safe environment for pupils to learn, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in their care
