HD 100A one credit college level Human Development Course. Graded CR or NC

All attendance/grading is at the instructor’s discretion

Attendance and Class Roster:

  • Attendance and arriving on time is mandatory on both days during the two day version. For the quarter-long version, a student needs to attend more than six sessions to earn credit.
  • If a student is not on the roster:
  • First check the master roster for all other sections happening at the same time and direct the student to the appropriate section.
  • Ask the student to see a copy of their schedule. If class (right room/right item# is on their schedule), add them to the roster and have the student fill out an add/drop form and sign it.
  • If the student is generally confused but is able to stay for both days/times, add their name and student ID# to the roster and have the student fill out an add/drop form. If student is not able to commit to staying for the whole class, refer the student to the Advising Office. Please note: the B-building does not open until 10am on Thursday and 8am on Monday.
  • Students may come to your class the day of with a schedule or note that was just printed off in the Advising Office (rosters are run the day prior to FYE). You can handwrite this student onto your roster, but he/she will not need to fill out an add/drop form.
  • All students filling out an add/drop form will need to pay the $65 HD 100 fee if it was never on their schedule/if they got dropped for non-payment. Emily (or another staff member) will add students as soon as rosters and forms are turned in.
  • There are ‘late-start’ weekend and Quarter-long options for students who missed their HD 100 or arrived too late to receive credit or be in class. Please direct students to the Advising Office or to email to reschedule their HD 100 class if needed.
