HASTINGS & ST LEONARD’S MUSEUM ASSOCIATION

COACH EXCURSION TO KEW GARDENS

With an admission-all-areas ticket, including Kew Palace & the Marianne North Gallery

ON SUNDAY 17TH MAY 2015

Leaving from Falaise Road coach bay (Bohemia Rd./Museum/public WC end), at 9.00 am prompt.

We will take an outward-bound ‘comfort stop’ at the M25 Services. Back in Hastings c. 7.30pm.

Also picking up from Battle High Street, at the Library bus stop (opposite the fire station).

Our previous trip to Kew was in May 2002. Since then the restoration of Kew Palace has been completed and, of special interest to members, the Marianne North Gallery and all its paintings have been restored. There is also now the Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanical Art.

Your ticket admits to all areas open to the public on the day.

Kew Gardens has 2 restaurants and 2 cafes within the grounds.

The Kew Explorer bus is available as a hop-on-hop-off way to tour the Gardens. Tickets are £4.50 and are available to buy on site.

NB: ART FUND MEMBERS are admitted on arrival for £7.00 on presentation of their card and must pay individually as they are NOT included in the Kew Group booking concession. Advance booking for Art Fund members is not available with Group bookings, but AF members’ admission is always available on the day.

(Emergency number ONLY available on day of trip: 07762 410440)
