Introduction
Pathways for Scholars is a program designed by homeschooling moms to help homeschooling families grow and prosper in their homeschooling experience. A team of veteran homeschooling moms and dads worked together to incorporate materials that worked for their children. Ideas from many years of experience and research have been combined to create a program that is God-centered and family oriented. This K-12 program works to develop the young learner into an independent high school learner. Through the K-8 years, homeschooled siblings will work on like topics to create a cohesive learning environment within the home. When students enter high school, more independent learning is encouraged as efforts are made to fulfill class requirements for graduation and develop student interests, skills, and strengths.

Our program services K-12 students. The Trailblazers (K-5) program incorporates teaching techniques unique to this age group. Our Ecole Scolaire program helps middle school student transition from a teacher-guided elementary environment to a more independent high school learning experience. We help familiesincorporate classical learning while still focusing on the developmental needs of the individual students during each stage of development. The academic backbone for our K-8 approach to learning integrates literature, composition, history, and geography. Instruction is not isolated to subject areas but rather interwoven so students will relate learning from one area to another. High school courses are planned so interrelated topics are taught within the same school year thus creating continuity between subjects.

It is our desire to share our experience with other families. We have worked diligently to form this program that will be honoring to our Lord and a blessing to the families we touch. Much prayer, thought, discussion and planning went into the design of this curriculum. The talents and ideas of many people were harvested to create a Harvest from Home. We pray that your family will grow and be strengthened through this work.
