Happy New Year and Thanks
We would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year and to say thank-you for your on-going support. This includes supporting our PTA’s Christmas Hamper Draw which raised a total of £646 for School Funds. This money has been used to purchase a year’s licence for our new ICT ‘Mathletics’ programme.
Well done t past pupil, Jude McCleary on winning the luxury hamper.
Whole School Pantomime Trip
On Friday 12 January, the whole school will attend a performance of ‘Peter Pan’ at the Grand Opera House, Belfast. We will not return to school until 4:45 so please ensure that your child is picked up at this time. The cost of this trip is£12.50 per child. A separate letter, with further detail will be sent home with each child.
Tesco Trip
This year, each of our classes will be attending an educational trip to the Tesco store in Enniskillen. This month, P1/2 will explore the journey of food from ‘Field to Fork’ on 16 January and P7 will explore the whole area of FairTrade during their visit on 30 January.
Further details and a consent form will be sent out separately.
Transfer Meeting
A meeting will be held in Mr Clarke’s classroom, on Thursday 18 January at 3pm, for P6 parents interested in their child completing the transfer test.
P6/7 Residential Trip
The next instalment of £40 for the P6/7 residential trip is now due. Please return your money with the reply slip overleaf.
FMT College Taster Day
P7 pupils will attend a taster day at Fivemiletown College on 25 January 2018. The children will leave school at 9:30am and return by 1:30pm. They will receive their snack and dinner at the college and are advised to wear trainers for participation in physical activities. Please complete the reply slip over leaf and return to school.
Appeal for unwanted/unused gardening materials
If you have any unwanted/unused pots, window boxes or hanging baskets, our children would really appreciate having them in preparation for their gardening/outdoor activities.

Term 2 activities will run for 9 weeks from the week beginning 15/01/18 until the week commencing 19/03/18
NB-Claire’s club runs though out the entire school year.

Attendance at paid Clubs/Activities
Reminder…unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds for a lack of attendance at paid clubs/activities. This includes scenarios such as missing a week of swimming or a session of an after school club (i.e. those run by an outside agency, that incur a payment).

N.B.Open morning visits to Dungannon Royal, for P7 parents and pupils will be held during the week of 24th-26th January 2018. An open evening for P6 parents and pupils will be held on Tuesday 13th February 2018 at 19.15.
