Meet Referee: Ken Coward – Level 4 -

Meet Manager: Don Maclean –

Coaches: Meet management will cross reference the list of coaches in attendance at this competition with the Swim Ontario Compliancy lists. If a coach is not on this list, meet management is obligated to enforce the SNC policy and not permit that coach to have deck access. Meet management will forward Swim Ontario a list of coaches who they have found to be in non-compliance.

Eligibility: All athletes must be registered as Competitive swimmers with SNC, or any other amateur swimming organization recognized by FINA.

Ages are to be submitted as of February 28, 2015

Foreign Competitors: All swimmers and coaches must be duly registered and residents of the governing body for which they are competing. All swimmers and coaches must be in good standing with their respective governing swim body.

Request for Officials: We can always use officials to help run the meet; it would be appreciated if volunteers from other clubs contact the meet referee, prior to February 21st, 2015. After this date, officials can make themselves known to the Meet Manager at the start of each session in case volunteers are still required.

Entry Information: The only meet package which will be considered as valid must be the most current version found on www.swimmeet.ca.

All entries must be in Hy-tek format and submitted via www.swimmeet.ca. No entries will be accepted directly by Meet Management. Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please submit entries early to ensure your place. Please bring your cheque, made payable to Newmarket Stingrays Swim Club, with you to the first session.

Limitations: Swimmers will be limited to a maximum of 3 individual events on each day. Please ensure that you have entered all events in a real or estimated time. Entries with NT will NOT be accepted.

Deck entries may be permitted as exhibition swims to fill empty lanes in existing heats only.

Deadline: The final deadline for changes to entries will be midnight, Monday February 16th, 2015, at which time all entries will be considered final. This meet will then be final seeded. No changes will be accepted after this date. All fees will be charged based on entries submitted up to the entry deadline, regardless of whether the swimmer competes or not.

Fees: Standard

$9.50 per individual event

$12.00 per relay team (total for 4 swimmers)

Deck Entries

$11.00 per individual event

$14.00 per relay team (total for 4 swimmers)

Scratch Rule: Meet Management requests that all scratches from prelims and timed finals be submitted no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of the session to allow for as many deck entries as possible.

All scratches from finals must be made within 30 minutes after posting of Preliminary results to allow proper seeding and notification of alternates with the clerk of course. Final scratch deadline for finals shall be 30 minutes before the start of the finals session. There will be no reseeding for scratches received after the initial scratch deadline. Scratching from finals after the final scratch deadline, or failure to participate in an individual final will result in the swimmer being excluded from further participation in that day`s finals session.

Seeding: All 13 & Over events will be seeded slowest to fastest with the

fastest 4 competitors being circle seeded (also known as vertical

seeding).

All entry times will be converted to Short Course (SC) times, using the default conversion factors in Hy-Tek Meet manager.

Standards: Coaches are to ensure that all 14 and under swimmers meet the following time pre-requisites in order to be entered in the meet.

200 IM - 7:00.00 400 Free - 9:30.00
