Happy Holidays!! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving break!

Practical Fundraiser - Trash Bag & Batteries

December 2nd-13th

PTA volunteers and school staff continually search out new practical ways to assist the school community. We have chosen something a bit different to close out the 2013 school year with Practical Fundraising™.

Most families need trash bags and batteries for the holidays and by purchasing through the Johnson PTA you can support us by buying these practical, every day, useful items.

Orders & money will be collected from December 2nd -13th. You will be able to pick up your orders December 18th- 20th. Proceeds will be used to purchase RoomTagz™. These are unique double-sided signs that will help create an instant visual communication to help students, parents, & guests navigate our hallways with ease for years to come.

As a bonus, the class with the most orders from each grade will also win a pizza lunch.

New PTA Committee

President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary

Now through the end of the year

We are recruiting volunteers and nominees for a new PTA Committee for the 2014-2015 school year. The current committee has run their 2 year term and new recruits and volunteers are needed to carry forward the great programs and events the PTA stands for. The kids, parents and teachers enjoy things like field trips, Multi-Cultural Day, social activities, exercise classes, and much more because of the PTA. The sooner we find recruits and volunteers for these positions the more the current Committee can prepare them for the coming year. The current Committee will be supportive in the next year if and when needed. Each position is a rewarding role. Take it on alone or with a partner.
