TODAY'S MEETINGS/EVENTS/DEADLINES
Shakespeare Troupe will meet in the 4th floor lounge next week on Monday and Thursday from 2:45 until 4:30. All those who auditioned should attend.
Anime Club will meet after school today from 2:45-4:00 in room 602 in the Cube. All are welcome. This week’s theme: Kaiju (Giant Monsters)!
HOSA will meet today during Advisory Club Day. New members welcome. Will be planning for Homecoming float & sign-ups for Fall Academy. Room 835 in Annex.
There will be an FBLA meeting today during A+. If you have any interest in joining, make sure to be there, even if you have not paid your dues and even if you don’t have a business class until next term! Don’t wait to join…FBLA has a lot of fun planned for this year – come see what it’s all about on Club Day!!

GUEST SLIPS AND HOMECOMING TICKET SALES
If you are bringing a guest to Homecoming who is not enrolled at Fauquier High School, you are required to complete a Request for Guest Slip are available in the Main Office, before school, during your lunch shift, and after school until 3 p.m. The deadline for completing a Request for Guest Slip is Friday, September 30, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Tickets will be on sale in the Finance/Attendance Office during the following dates and times:
DISCOUNTED TICKET SALES – $15.00 per ticket
Monday, October 3 – before school, during all three lunch shifts, and after school until 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 4 – before school, during all three lunch shifts, and after school until 3:00 p.m.
REGULAR PRICED TICKET SALES – $20.00 per ticket
Wednesday, October 5 – before school, during all three lunch shifts, and after school until 3:00 p.m.
Thursday, October 6 – before school, during all three lunch shifts, and after school until 3:00 p.m.
Friday, October 7 – before school and during all three lunch shifts (no after-school sales on this date).
If you have completed the Dance Rules and Expectations Form for the 2016-17 school year, you will not be required to complete another form. Otherwise, you must submit a form when you purchase your ticket. Dance Rules and Expectations Forms are available in the Main Office.

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS ARE REMINDED TO BRING 2 DOZEN COOKIES TO ROOM 566 BY THE END OF SCHOOL ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 26.
The annual Fauquier County College Fair will be held at LFCC on Tuesday, September 27th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.Over 80 colleges and universities will be here to answer your questions. The listing of colleges and their assigned areas are available on the Guidance website.
Do you want to get involved? Do you like to sing? Are you a fan of Pitch Perfect? Well then FHS A Capella is the place for you! Come by room 525 on Tuesday, September 27th during Advisory for information on the upcoming auditions.
DECA is walking for Diabetes on October 1st. Anyone is welcome to join us. To support our walk, DECA will be selling paper shoes in Mrs. Lynch and Ms. Chappell’s rooms (612 & 608 in the cube), and in the school store during lunch in the old cafeteria. Shoes are $1 and all money will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to fund diabetes research. Please come see us this week and next week, buy a shoe, decorate it if you like and help find a cure for diabetes! We would love to have you walk with us on October 1st too! Lots of food and fun!!!
AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES/MEETINGS
There will be a Girl's Lacrosse FunCamp on Saturday the 24th of September from 8:30AM until 11:30AM on the Hockey/GLAX practice field. This is a no pressure / fun camp to introduce new girls to lacrosse. Please plan on bringing your stick, goggles and a mouthpiece. If you don't have a stick and goggles - come anyway. We'll figure something out.....
Any athlete who is not currently playing a fall sport and is interested in tennis in the spring is encouraged to come to open courts on Mondays from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. If you have any questions, see Coach Deavers in Room 406.
