BOCCIA EQUIPMENT INFORMATION
All full size Handi Life Sport boccia balls supplied by CP Sport are approved for boccia competitions by the BISFed (Boccia International Federation).
Superior Indoor Boccia Balls are available in 3 degrees of hardness:
· Hard: Players with little arm strength, or who play with an assistive device (ramp) often prefer to play with hard boccia balls which roll more easily.
· Medium: Most players prefer medium balls, which is the grade supplied if you do not request a specific hardness.
· Soft: Some players are more comfortable with soft boccia balls which can be easier to place on the court.
· Mixed: A mixed set usually comprises of 2 hard, 2 medium and 2 soft balls of each colour and a white jack ball. Other mixes are available by special order. These sets are aimed at the more elite player.
Superior Boccia Balls are available as 6 or 12 panel balls.
· 6 and 12 panel balls play identically and which is right for each player comes down to individual choice.
Boccia Basic Balls are only available as 12 panel medium balls.

Do you only sell Handi Life Boccia balls?
Yes all our balls are manufactured by Handi Life Sport and are BISFed (Boccia International Federation) approved competition balls.
What is the difference between 6 panel and 12 panel balls?
It is simple the number of panels the superior classic Boccia balls is made up of, and which is right for you, is simply a matter of personal preference.
What is the difference between Superior Classic and Superior balls?
The difference between Superior Classic and Superior balls is the bag they are supplied in. Superior Classic come in the supreme/elite bag which has a sturdy plastic inlay that gives each ball shape protection. Superior sets come in Handi Life Sport’s traditional blue shoulder bag with adjustable strap.
The balls supplied in both these sets are the same superior ball available in whichever number of panels and hardness required.
Which are the best balls for recreational use?
Superior Balls of medium hardness or Boccia Basic Balls are recommended.
What is the difference between the hardness of balls?
Players with weak arm strength often prefer hard balls, which roll further. Other players prefer soft balls, which are easier to place on the course.
I have lost a Boccia ball, can I buy a replacement or do I have to buy a full set?
If you lose a ball or fancy trying one or two of a different hardness, we are able to supply individual Handi Life Sport balls. Can I pay by credit / debit card?

Can I buy Boccia equipment exempt of VAT?
If you believe you are eligible to purchase boccia balls exempt of VAT please complete our VAT Exemption Certificate and return it .
If you are in any doubt as to whether you are eligible to receive goods or services zero rated for VAT you should consult VAT Notice 701//7/45 or seek advice from your local VAT office before signing the VAT Exemption Certificate.
