Adding a Slide

  1. Go to Home Ribbon then select the Slides Group
  2. Choose New Slide

Changing the Slide Lay-out

  1. Go to Home Ribbon then select the Slides Group
  2. Choose Lay-out

There are different Slide Lay-out such as:

  1. Blank
  2. Title Slide
  3. Title and Content
  4. Title Only
  5. Comparison
  6. Two Content
  7. Title and Vertical Text

Adding a Background Design in a Slide

  1. Go to Design Ribbon
  2. Choose the Background group
  3. Select the PICTURE then choose FORMAT BACKGROUND
  4. You can choose any background such as:

a)Picture

b)Texture

c)Solid Color

d)Gradient Color ( 2 or More Color )

e)Pattern

Texture background

  1. Water Droplets
  2. Newsprint
  3. White Marble
  4. Green Marble
  5. Paper Bag
  6. Bouquet
  7. And many other textures available on the list

Gradient background (it’s a combination of two or more colors)

Pattern background

Adding a THEMES in a Slide

  1. Go to Design Ribbon
  2. Choose the Themesgroup
  3. You can choose any THEMES such as:

a)Couture

b)Austin

c)Angles

d)Opulent

e)And many other themes.

Apply to all slides – the design will be applied to the entire slides.

Apply to the selected slide – the design will be applied only to the current slide

Adding a Picture in a Slide

  1. Go to Insert Ribbon
  2. Choose the Image group
  3. Select the PICTURE

Adding a MUSIC in a Slide

  1. Go to Insert Ribbon
  2. Choose the Media group
  3. Select the AUDIO
  4. Choose Audio from File

How to play the music in the entire slide?

  1. Select the sound icon.
  2. Choose the Playback Ribbon
  3. Select the AUDIO OPTIONS group
  4. On the drop-down list of START, choose : PLAY ACROOS the SLIDE

How to hide the sound icon during the slide show?

  1. Select the sound icon.
  2. Choose the Playback Ribbon
  3. Select the AUDIO OPTIONS group
  4. Put a check mark on the box HIDE DURING SHOW.

How to record or rehearse the song with the lyrics?

  1. Choose the Slide Show Ribbon
  2. Select the Set UP group
  3. Choose Rehearse Timing
  4. Listen and follow the music when you click the left mouse button.

Adding TRANSITION on the slide

  1. Select the slide you want to add the TRANSITION
  2. Choose Transition Ribbon then choose Transition to this slide
  3. You can select a transition based on the group such as SUBTLE, EXCITING and DYNAMIC

Adding an ANIMATION on the text or object

  1. Choose the placeholder or object
  2. Select the ANIMATION GROUP
  3. You can choose if its ENTRANCE, EMPHASIS OR EXIT

Adding HYPERLINK to an object

  1. Choose the placeholder or object
  2. Select the Insert Ribbon the choose LINKS GROUP
  3. Select Action
  4. On the dialog box, choose HYPERLINK to: ______

Adding Chart on the slide

  1. Select the Insert Ribbon the choose ILLUSTRATIONS GROUP
  2. Select CHART

Adding SmartArt

  1. Select the Insert Ribbon the choose ILLUSTRATIONS GROUP
  2. Select SmartArt

Adding Table

  1. Select the Insert Ribbon the choose ILLUSTRATIONS GROUP
  2. Select Table
  3. You can declare the total number of rows and columns you will be using.
