July 4th Family Picnic at MCC:

On Wednesday, July 4th at 3:30 PM we will hold a Family Picnic for members and their guests.

Games for everyone: Kids and Adults.

Water-Slide and Bouncy Castle for kids.

Special 3-Hole golf tournament for kids and an adult.

Barbeque: Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Chicken, Ribs, Salads, Corn on the Cob, Watermellon, Beer, Soda and more….

Cost is $20. for adults and $8. for kids 5 and up.

Come out and enjoy the fun. Sign up in the pro-shop.

New Membership Drive:

Our “New Membership Drive” continues to do well.

Please continue getting the word out to friends and neighbors about our new discounted memberships.

Let’s keep it going.

Paddy Creegan Open:

The second annual Paddy Creegan Open was held on Friday, June14th to a field of 30 golfers who turned out on this wonderful day to honor and remember Paddy.

Team Prendergast won first place.

$375. was donated to The American Cancer Society in Paddy’s name.

The committee would like to thank all of its’ sponsors (especially Robert Smith of Strauss Merchandise) for their support.

We hope even more players will attend next years’ P.C. Open. We are shooting for a weekday in August, 2008 so members please mark that time on your calendars. By Steve Douthit

Presidents Cup:

In a back and forth match that came to the 18th hole, Dan Politoski, defeated Peter Cassidy, 1-up to win the 2007 Presidents Cup. Congratulation Dan. That also vaulted Dan into the lead in the 2007 Player of the Year standings.

The 6 man Member guest was well participated this year and with the exception of Mac's singing, the event was deemed a huge success. The Gross Division was won by members Mike McHale, Paul Cassidy, Pete Cassidy & Guests. The Net Division was won by members Pat Welsh, Tim Brogan & their guests.

Nine & Dine Social - July 21, 2007 @ 3:30 PM:

A couples only event with Nine holes of golf and dinner following.

Format: Couples, Best Ball, Higher handicapper’s ball must be used at least once, Open to golfers of all abilities, Grand Prize is Bragging Rites, Spouse need not be a member.

Cost: $25.00 Per Person, which includes: 9 Holes of golf w/cart, Dinner (Includes tax and tip), Cash Bar.

Gross & Net Divisions. Sign up in the Pro Shop.
