Notes: Mandi has won FOUR NCAA Individual Championships for GVSU. She won the 1500 as a freshman, the 2005 XC Championship, and the 3000 and 5000 at the 2006 NCAA Outdoor Champs. She started out at 35-40 miles a week and has worked her way up to 55-60 miles a weekthis past season. Mandi qualified for the USATF Championships in Indianapolis this past summer, she finished 16th in 16:27.

Notes: Karlie finished 8th at the NCAA Championship this past fall with the second fastest time in the school’s history for 6000 meters. She also ran the second fastest 5k time on the grass in the school’s history this fall as well. Karlie started at 40-45 miles a week as a freshman and worked her way to a consistent 60-70 miles a week this past year.

Notes: Stacey has improved the most of anyone I have ever worked with in the shortest amount of time. Her All American finish at the Cross Country Championships was a huge reason for our runner up finish as a team.

Stacey will graduate at the end of the year and will be coming back for GRADUATE school and use her 5th year of cross country eligibility in the fall. Stacey has progressed to 60-70 miles a week this past year.

Notes: Adrian has been one of our most consistent workers over the years. With that she has displayed steady improvement. Adrian does not have much leg speed, but she makes up for it in sheer strength and determination. She has handled 70 mile a week for the last year and a half.

Notes: Susie had a breakthrough season this fall be earning All American honors this fall. Prior to this season she had never been in our top 7. Susie’s last year of training has allowed her to make huge improvements. She has done this by increasing her mileage to 55-60 miles a week. Notes: Leah is the first freshman to crack our top 7 in the last 4 years. She adapted very well to training volume and intensity. Ironically she was coaches by one of our XC/ Track alums in track. Leah averaged between 48-53 miles in season as a true freshman. That is a bump up from about 38-43 miles a week during her senior year of high school.
