Doctoral grants from the University of Iceland Research Fund/ The University of Iceland Eimskip Fund

In general: The application form is for both funds.Applications must be submitted online on the funds' website. There is no need to submit a printed copy of the application or a signed copy.

Applications may be in English. However, the title of the project, key words and the abstract must be in both English and Icelandic. Unsatisfactory applications will not be processed. Applicants are also reminded to obtain the necessary permission for the application from, e.g., the Data Protection Authority, the Ethics Committee and/or the Committee on the use of Experimental Animals, as applicable.
Please note that the form can be saved – however two mandatory fields must be filled in (supervisor´s name and e-mail) ,they are coloured yellow. Click “vista” (save) at the top of the form – applicant must save the link that appears.
It is best to use the scroll bar when sliding the form up or down – scrolling does not work. After the application has been sent in, it can be printed out, choose “prenta” (print) at the top of the page.
