School Officer of the Year Achievement Award

Nominations are now being accepted for this year’s School Officer of the Year Award. The South Dakota Association of School Resource Officers (SDASRO) is proud to support this annual award, now in its 8th year.

SDASRO, which began in 2007, strives for great working relationships between school officers and school personnel.

The officer chosen for this award should display professionalism, dedication and commitment to their respective school and/or district.

The SDASRO Executive Board consisting of members from around the state will make the selection from those nominated. We may call the prospective recipient’s school district and/or employer to get supervisor appraisals. All nominees will be announced at our annual business meeting, usually held in conjunction with our summer conference.
