GUIDANCE FOR BOOKING DHIVERSE YOUNG PEOPLE’S SRE WORKSHOPS

  1. Evidence demonstrates that students benefit more from group discussion and participation so to ensure that students get the most out of our workshops we allow a maximum of
35 studentsper workshop and at least 50 minutes must be allowed per workshop.
  1. Whilst we are unable to provide workshops for groups of more than 35 we are able to provide presentations to year groups and in assemblies. Please contact us for more information.
  2. We are able to offer programmes running over a period of a few weeks, going into more depth on certain topics or covering multiple topics. Please contact us for more information.
  3. Multiple sessions must take place over 1 day or 2 days as this helpsreduce our travel expenses and staff travelling time, which in turn will help to keep our services free.
  4. Due to the increased demand for our SRE workshops we would appreciate it if bookings could be made at least a half term in advance. However, there is some flexibility around this, particularly if we get last minute cancellations, so it is always worth checking.
  5. We also run workshops for people of all ages with learning disabilities or who are on the autistic spectrum. To find out more contact
  6. Outlines of all the sessions can be found on our website at
Although our sessions are FREE we welcome donations to help support the rising cost of delivering services and to enable them to be available to as many young people as possible. We find that most schools are happy to pay at least £50 for a day’s session/sessions and receipts are provided for all donations or we can provide an invoice. In addition to this we also welcome support with fundraising from staff and young people particularly around World AIDS Day.
Please note that a cancellation charge might apply if sufficient notice isn’t given. It is the responsibility of the school to get in contact the week prior to confirm the booking.
