Clarification on #8 – ‘examine movement equipment’ (means basic equipment for children, tambourines, etc.)
Per Donna Marzolf, there is a previous course - Special Topics – with the same course number – this number will be changed to 1270

- CDEV 2530 Curriculum Planning
Questions on Core Abilities / should they be listed completely – there are a total of 2 broader categories, then 8 criteria
Should faculty list the category and then specifics underneath
Need to be specific as possible on CCO’s
Per Lisa Schickling, the assessment committee and Wayne Whitmore have noted that faculty should list all of the Core Abilities information
Need AASC and assessment to work out details to clarify
Sue will make a change on the CCO sample that is distributed with the meeting notice (change the number from 6 to 8)
Don’t have to revise all CCO’s immediately / as faculty create new or go through and update CCO’s, need to apply the new assessment framework. This change only needs to be reviewed and approved by the Academic Dean

Changed / modified some competencies to align with accreditation standards and industry need
There is a change in CSI Masterformat 2004 numbering systems.
Questions under descriptions – should it be in narrative rather than phrases? Yes
Currently, most other descriptions are in full sentences

Under competencies: need more measurable objectives: read this, (ex: read and summarize)
REMOVE: Learning objectives do not need to be approved by Curriculum Committee
