Frog Prince:

The event took place on Feb. 5 at the PLCC and was a huge success. There were 894 people total throughout the two shows. This came to 228 families that were served. We’ve heard nothing but very positive feedback, and everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves. Thank you to everyone involved, especially GCDJFS for funding the event, as well as the food, books and door prizes.

Make A Difference…Event:

The next event is titled “Make A Difference In Your Family…Communicate!” and will take place on Sunday, March 23 at the Cambridge City Park Armory from 3 – 5PM. There will be a number of agency booths set up, and there will also be games, food, activities, door prizes, crafts, etc. We will also be collecting cans of food, which will be donated to local food panties, and dog food/treats, which will be donated to the Save-A-Dog Foundation. The event is being presented by the Family and Honesty & Integrity Core Value committees. Please attend to help if you are able!!!

Tax Exemption:

Pam Nicholson has reported that we have been approved by the State for Tax Exemption Status. She stated that she has received the letter of approval for the 501C3, and she just has to go through the procedure to get the actual certificate. But we ate allowed to go ahead and apply for grants, etc. if we would like to.

Committee Updates:

No other Core Value Committees have met recently.
