Blueberry Hill Overview

  1. Par 4 – 334 – A very tight and risky short par 4. Driving demands accuracy, NOT distance. Approach to an elevated green requiring an extra club to reach. A bell is provided next to cart path and must be rung after group hits approaches.
  1. Par 4 – 359 – Drive to large landing area, but long hitters be careful of green-side pond which is reachable off the tee. Small and firm green only 23 yards deep. Pay extra attention to club selection.
  1. Par 5 – 509 – Large landing area with ideal drive being in the right-center of fairway. There is trouble that guards the left side of the fairway. Second shot should be a lay-up as a hidden pond protects the front of the green. Long ball hitters may have an easy go for the green. Front of mound in fairway 235 to pond. Green is slightly elevated, but don’t be long as par will be hard to achieve from over the green.
  1. Par 3 – 169 – Deceptive little hole; par is a very good score. Tricky wind and tough pin placements demand accurate club selections. Par almost impossible if over the green. Don’t go long, but if you do, take your medicine. OB left and grass bunkers on both sides of green catching wayward shots.
  1. Par 5 – 549 – Long par 5 with slight dog-leg left. It then dog-legs left on 2nd shot with severe trouble lining left side of hole. Best drive to right center of fairway leaving an open 2nd shot to the left of trees guarding the right side of the fairway. Do not mis-club, as lateral hazard guards not only left side of hole, but also behind the green.
  1. Par 4 – 414 – Hardest hole on the course, and most scenic. Uphill tee shot to blind landing area, use caution as OB lines the left side of hole. Best drive is left center as fairway dog-legs right on 2nd shot and trees protecting right side of fairway will block most approach shots from reaching the green. Par is a great score.
  1. Par 4 – 397 – Slight dog-leg left faces the player teeing off this par 4. Best drive is in center, or for the aggressive player, a draw down the left side will shorten the hole. Generous green 28 yards deep and very open approach area allows for a player to run or fly the ball to the pin. Don’t go long, as it is a very difficult up and down for par.
  1. Par 3 – 202 – Long and tough; slightly elevated green; Pond guards right side, so miss left (grass bunker).
  1. Par 4 – 384 – Drive to a wide uphill fairway that slopes left to right. Approach is to an elevated green protected by grass bunker on right side. Don’t be long or OB comes into play.
  1. Par 4 – 357 – Straight hole – best drive favors the left side. From tee sign to front of pond on left side of fairway is 254 yards, so you may not need or want driver. Second pond protects the left side and back of green. Be cautious with your approach.
  1. Par 3 – 204 – Long, all carry, to an elevated, long, but narrow green. Grass bunkers on either side.
  1. Par 5 – 557 – Tee shot is the key; Pond is 245 from blue tee and 227 from whites. Fairway dog legs right after tee shot, but best place for 2nd shot is left center of fairway (avoiding trees on right side that block many approaches). Huge green.
  1. Par 4 – 353 – OB right; Slicers be careful – OB is close to rough; Small pond in front of green and from blue cement marker is 146 yards away and from the white cement marker only 96 yards.
  1. Par 5 – 494 – Birdie hole; Blind landing area off tee; Fairway slopes severely right to left; OB protects right side of hole and should be a concern off the tee; Second shot offers a chance to go for pin with little risk (only a ride side sand trap).
  1. Par 4 – 429 – Large landing area on this long par 4. Fairway slopes left to right so play the left side of the fairway. Green is 28 yards deep and is protected by grass bunkers on each side.
  1. Par 3 – 179 – Long par 3 to elevated and tricky green; Grass bunkers left and right front; Par is a great score.
  1. Par 4 – 435 – Tough dog leg left; Best not to cut too much off left side or you will face tree trouble. Three wood is usually best club off tee; Pond guards front of green with depth of 40 yards; use extra club to clear pond and hit elevated green.
  1. Par 4 – 391 – Challenging driving hole with blind landing area and sloping fairway; Aim up the left side to avoid JAIL formed on right side of rough with large trees; Ring bell to signal fairway clear; be careful if looking for ball as driving range is parallel!
