Greetings from The Care4Ghana Mission Team

Dear

I want to share the awesome opportunity that I feel led to take in December of 2017. I will be attending a mission trip to Ghana, West Africa. This trip is through care4ghana.com which operates under Memorial Baptist Church and Emmanuel Mustapha. Mustapha is a Ghanaian missionary with the Ghana Baptist Convention.

This opportunity will include medical and church work for two weeks in Yendi, Ghana. Some of us will only be there the first or second week while others will be spending the entire 18 days including travel. The first week will involve medical work in the villages of the Yendi region. During these days, we will be doing medical examinations, working to build churches, Vacation Bible School with the children as well as distributing mosquito netting. We completed nearly 2000 examinations during our week of field work in 2008. We also helped start nine churches as we worked with over 200 local pastors. These workers were encouraged, trained and very thankful for our compassion to their villages. The second week we have a full surgical team. The last surgical mission trip successfully accomplished over 100 surgical procedures performed in 5 days. Many of these surgeries saved lives and gave everyone a better quality of life. The missionaries will have the opportunity to serve in the private school that now runs over 500 students.

As of now there are around 40 people forming the team for December 2017. Everyone is asked to raise $2,300.00 to cover our travel and expenses. But beyond personal expenses there are medical supplies, teaching supplies and other work related costs.

I hope you will pray for this mission trip as we journey to Ghana, West Africa. Emmanuel Mustapha is a godly man that has started over 700 churches reaching over 80,000 people. I also ask that you consider giving to this wonderful mission project. Thank you in advance for your support.

If you feel led to give, you can go to care4ghana.com and click on Donate. You have the option todesignate the missionary you are wanting to support. You can also send a check to care4ghana at 205 Sunset Lane, New Haven, MO 63068. All gifts are tax deductible through Memorial Baptist Church.

Thank you for helping us care for the people of Ghana both spiritually and physically. I am so thankful for this opportunity and your partnership!

Sincerely,
