PSALM OF THE DAY: from Psalm 95

Come, let us sing praise to the Lord!
Let us shout praises to the Rock who saves us.
Come and worship him with songs of thanks.
Let us sing happy songs of praise to him.
For the Lord is a great God,
the great King ruling over all the other “gods.”
Come, let us bow down and worship him!
Let us kneel before the Lord who made us.
He is our God,
and we are the people he cares for.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
one God now and for ever. Amen.

PARISH PRAYERS - THIS WEEK …Pastor Detlev & Family; Michael Obst & Family.

PRAYER OF THE DAY –

Gracious God, you have given us a King like no other, crowned with thorns and enthroned on a cross. May he enlighten us and inspire us until we find wonder in simple things and glory in humble service. For through him, and with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, we rest our highest hopes and our deepest longings. All praise and honour be yours for ever and ever. Amen!
