Marcariophia

Goddess of Flowers

I am Marcariophia and I am the goddess of flowers. I am writing in reference to the job posting found in the Mount Olympus Chronicle. I strongly believe that I would make an excellent addition to the Mount Olympus team. My superb organizational skills, winning personality, and drive to always do my best make me an excellent candidate for the job.

As goddess of flowers, I will make Mount Olympus a beautiful place to work at and live. I was top of my class at the Florist Academy located in Athens, and made the high honor roll each marking period while I was a student there. I participated in a florist retreat where I learned how to plant and cultivate various species of flowers. During my experience, I also created beautiful bouquets and huge flower arrangements that impressed Aphrodite, Cupid, and even Helen of Troy.

I was employed by the emperor of Sparta. My job was to redecorate and redesign all of the gardens and fields that were destroyed during the Spartan wars. I once had to replant 200 flower boxes and reseed 10 fields of flowers that had died due to Spartan warfare. As you know, I have also done small flower arrangements for your wife, Hera, and your son Hercules. They both were very pleased with my work and recommended me to their friends. My beautiful flower bouquets will bring rays of sunshine and a glorious smell to the halls of Mount Olympus.

I truly believe that I would be the best addition to the Mount Olympus team. My excellent grades, award-winning flower displays, and strong recommendations make me the best goddess for the job. You will not be displeased Zeus if you choose me Marcariophia, the goddess of flowers, as the new addition to your team!
