Greater New Orleans Metro League Cluster Meets

2013 Season – Revised: 10-7-2013

Dates:1. Saturday September 28, 2013 – UNO Pool; Warm-up = 1:00 pm; Start = 2:00 pm.

Location:2. Saturday November9, 2013 – UNO Pool; Warm-up = 1:00 pm; Start = 2:00 pm.

Warm-Ups:3. Saturday October 26, 2013 – UNO Pool; Warm-up = 1:00 pm; Start = 2:00 pm.

Eligibility:These meets are designed for High School Students in grades 9th thru 12th. Swimmers in grades 5th

thru 8th, should swim in the scheduled middle school meets.

Entries:All participating schools will be limited to an entry of 15 girls and 15 boys for each cluster meet”.

Each team can enter a max of 4 swimmers in an individual event. For the 50 and 100 free events,

multiple entries are allowed. All entries over 4 will be marked as exhibition.

2Relays in each relay event are allowed. These meets will be seeded by times. Please do not enter with

an “NT”.

In all events, scoring will be a max of 4 in individual events and 1 relay per team.

An individual competitor may enter a total of 4 events, no more than 2 individual events. Competitors may swim 1 individual event and 3 relays.

If you use HyTek Team Manager, e-mail at for an event file for the meet before you send your entries in. If you don’t use HyTek Team Manager, e-mail for an entry form.

Relays:Relay cards will be provided at the meet. Entries must correctly list each swimmer’s name and grade in the correct order of swimming, when turning them in prior to the start of the race.

“Penalty for not following this is disqualification of the relay.”

Meet Conduct:All schools participating in the meet are responsible for providing timers and stroke judges as needed

There will be an entrance fee of $50.00 per team.

Concessions:The host site will be selling food and drink, which will be open during the meet - please no ice chests allowed.

Facility Rules:The Host Facility asks that all swimmers, spectators, and coaches comply with the following regulations:

1. No food allowed inside the facility.

2. No horseplay in the locker rooms or on the deck.

3. No smoking allowed anywhere inside the facility.

4. No glass containers or ice chests allowed in the facility.

5. Comply with directions given by the lifeguards.

6. No banners, posters, balloons, etc. may be affixed to any part of the building.

7. Do not leave items unattended in the locker rooms.

8. Please police your area before leaving each day.
