Horses

The dictionary says a horse is ‘‘A large animal that is used for riding and for carrying and pulling things’’, but it is much more than that. Horses are large four legged mammals that have been working and living with humans for thousands of years. Both species have created a relationship that benefitseach other. Horses clearly help humans with their strength and speed, while humans help horses with technology, medicine, and general care. However, they are much more than this.To humans, a horse can represent freedom and even a romantic past. A horse would also, historically, be a huge help in a person’s life and represent success. In war, a horse or horses would represent strength and inspire fear in one’s enemy. In conclusion, a horse is more than a large and strong animal, and they should be respected.
