Dear Property Owner:

Greene County Parks, in cooperation with the Greene County Engineer’s Office, the Ohio Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration, will hold a Public Information Meeting for the above project on September 10, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.at the Bellbrook-SugarcreekParkDistrictCommunity Center located at 2751 Washington Mill Road in Bellbrook, Ohio.

Greene County Parks is in the process of developing plans for the GRE-Bellbrook Bikepath Connector. The project involves construction of a paved, multi-use bike path in western GreeneCounty that will connect the City of Bellbrook at Sackett-WrightPark to the Little Miami Scenic Trail in or around the Village of Spring Valley, following along SR 725 and/or the Little Miami Scenic River corridors. The project work is expected to utilize a combination of existing right-of-way, public land, and private property easements.

The purpose of this meeting is to afford all interested persons an opportunity to review and comment on the planned project. The meeting will be held in an “open house” format, with Project Team representatives available to take your comments and answer your questions. The open house style format affords you the opportunity to attend the meeting at your convenience between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00 p.m., review the meeting displays illustrating the project, and discuss the project individually with Project Team representatives. There will not be any formal speaker presentation at this meeting.

Direct notification of this public meeting is being sent to property owners in the immediate project area. In addition, notices for this meeting have been placed on the Ohio Department of Transportation website () and in local newspapers. Public input is a very important part of the project development process. Comments may be made at the meeting or up to 14 days subsequent to the meeting either via mail or phone.

Individuals who may require interpretation services or special assistance to participate in this meeting should Greene County Parks at the numbers listed above, 5 to 7 days prior to the meeting, for arrangements to be made.
