JOB PURPOSE:
The Enrich 29 Program Director leads 29 Acres in planning, organizing, developing, implementing, and evaluating 29 Acre’s Enrich 29 program, a new and innovative residential enrichment program for adults with autism designed to lead to measurable growth and the realization for independent living. Responsible for effective leadership; financial management of staff; program operations; systems and reporting; compliance; and budgeting and assisting in funding applications.
ESSENTIAL AND OTHER RELATED JOB DUTIES: / % Time
- Provides leadership and coordination in the development, implementation, evaluation and management of Enrich 29 residential programming for up to 20 residents. The Director will be responsible for contributing creative programming idea and help to train front-line staff in the implementation of all programming.
- Oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of client outcomes and other program performance goals. Director will be responsible for arranging appropriate data collection which they will regularly review and make data-based decisions.
- Implements appropriate training programs to attract, retain, and develop the key staff required to support program. Orients, trains, supervises, advises and annually evaluates the performance of program staff to assure efficient and effective performance. Ensures the integration and alignment of Enrich 29 programming with 29 Acre’s existing Transition Academy.
- Helps prepare and maintains annual budget and serves as a liaison for the program with state and federal funding agencies, parents, and other entities to ensure program sustainability.
- Maintains current knowledge of a variety of applicable laws, rules, regulations and requirements, including licensing related to students with autism and ensures compliance.

JOB SPECIFICATION
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Education:
- Master’s degree in psychology, education, special education, sociology, social work or related field
Experience:
- 10 or more years experience in a supervisory position working with adults with ASD and/or related disorders.
- 10 or more years experience working in the behavioral health/developmental disabilities field and experience implementing behaviorally-based interventions, supported employment services, and other services designed to maximize independent living.
Certification Required:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA, BCBA-D) License preferred
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) preferred but not required
- CIT, CPI, 1st Aid, CPR and fingerprint clearance card
- Valid Texas driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Skills:
- Able to oversee appropriate goals and develop effective programs that support independent living for adults with ASD
- Able to demonstrate exceptional clinical supervision skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with community members, healthcare professionals, employers, and other service providers.
- Experience in managing diverse professional groups in service delivery to adolescents, adults and families.
- Ability to set and manage priorities in a timely manner.
- Able to manage staff and coordinate with clients and families.
- Must be a team player that motivates, trains and educates staff.
- Ability to demonstrate proven skills in written and oral communication, planning and organization, government reimbursement systems.
- A good understanding of budget preparation and monitoring.
- Must have patience and the ability to interact well with others
- Strong organizational skills, leadership qualities and possess a confident and outgoing manner
