PRESENT STATUS

Working as Senior Technical Assistant, Directorate of Rice Development, Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India (Deptt. of Agriculture & Co-Operation), Patna -13, Bihar, Indiawhich is a premium institution for the development of rice programme in India.

Working Nature:

  • To look after the work of progress of centrally sponsored scheme like National Food Security Mission-Rice and Bringing Green Revolution in Eastern India at national level
  • Field visit to inspect the demonstration plot of rice, wheat and pulses for crop improvement
  • Prepare package of practice of the latest HYVvarieties and hybrid rice
  • To collect and analysis all India data on rice with special emphasis for Eastern India (Bihar, Orissa, Jharkhand). State & district wise information relating to area, production and yield of rice
  • Maintenance of data base of rice varieties, HYV and hybrid released in India
  • Motivate farmers to adopt new method of rice and wheat cultivation such as “System of Rice Intensification” and “System of Wheat Intensification”
