GOPINATH REDDY VEDIRE
DISTRICT GOVERNOR 2015-16
Gopinath Reddy Vedire, affectionately known as Gopi, was born to Smt. Sujatha and Shri Ramlinga Reddy Vedire on July 17, at Hanamkonda [Warangal District], He graduated from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
Gopi started his career as an entrepreneur in printing, publishing; consequently moved intothe construction and infrastructure.
Attracted by the Rotarians meeting weekly for fellowship and the Rotary International ideals of "Service Above Self" Gopi thus joined the Rotary movement in 1989-90, through Rotary Club of Hyderabad East.
Gopi served as club president during 1996-97 and hosted the District Assembly under his stewardship.Ever since he continued his administrative and tactical support to many a District Governors in implementing the Rotary programs successfully.
Gopi served as a co-chair of the Accommodation, Transportation and Venue committees of the RI South Asia Summit 2013 held at Hyderabad.
He is the recipient of the special recognition from National Polio Plus Committee during the year of 2005-06 & 2006-07.
Gopi and his family members are the recipients of 'Paul Harris Fellow' recognition from The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

A life member of American Telugu Association (ATA), North American Telugu Association (NATA), Red Cross Society and YMCA.
He is founder of JAGRUTHA charitable foundation - with the mission, statement' - Aware, Awake, and Arise for Charity with clarity bringing awareness among the Indian nationals living all over the world.
Gopi is married to Sulochana who has been a source of inspiration all through.
They are blessed with one daughter Dr. Tarunya graduated in Medicine from Manipal University and currently perusingfellowship program in medicine in United States of America who was recently married.

Gopi has made revolutionary changes to the District Organization structure which facilitates excellent communication and coordination between District and clubs - provides great focus as well as enables everyone to easily participate and contribute.In fact any Multi national company would envy at the way he as designed the org structure. His Mantra is Educate, Execute, Empower.
