Accommodations

The coaching staff for each school is responsible for making arrangements with the Country Inn and Suites by Carlson in Plymouth, MN for rooming reservation. Website link and phone numbers are provided to help ease the booking. Feel free to use the website link(easiest) or call the sales coordinator for booking. Because they are a partner in the Gopher Invitational and provide a coaches suite for hospitality, along with great rates for each team, I ask you to please use them as your host hotel for the event. Room block cutoff date is scheduled for August 18, 2016 so please plan accordingly. Please use the directions for booking below:

Lineups

All preliminary lineups should be submitted by email to Coach Justin Smith at by Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 5 pm. Final lineup changes can be completed at Coaches’ meeting.

Entry Fee

There is $150 entry fee per player for the tournament. New for the 2016 Gopher, I would ask that each of you send “1” flag by August 28, 2015 from your schools that will be hung in the clubhouse during the event. Flags can be sent to:

Therulesofficials fortheGopherInvitational willbe from the Minnesota PGA Section. Therulescommittee is comprised of Minnesota PGA Section officials.

Pace of Play

Pace of play policy will be handed out at the coaches meeting.

Spectators

Spectatorsare encouraged to attend howeverwill be asked to maintain anappropriate distancefrom the participants. Spectators will not begivengolfcarts unless permission is granted through medical waiver. Carts are limited for the event. LiveScoring

Hole by hole walking scorers will be with each group. Golfstat.com will have all live scoring information.

SportsMedicine

Thetrainingstaffwill offer onsiteservices throughout the tournament and will be located at the back of the men’s locker room. Adailyschedule andcontactinformation for thetrainer will beprovided at the coaches’ meeting.

Awards

The Gopher Individual awards ceremony will take placeimmediatelyfollowingplaynext tothe scoreboard in the stagingarea.Trophieswill be handed out for The Gopher Individual Champion as well as the2ndand3rdplace finishers.

Coaches Meeting

The coaches meeting will take place at 2:00 pm in the Windsong Farm dining room. We ask all coaches to be respectful of other coaches’ time and to arrive 5 minutes prior. Doug Hoffmann will be conducting meeting. Please allow 1 hour for the meeting.
