Working split time, 50% Family Medicine outpatient and 50% Psychiatry outpatient, with plans for foundation of an Integrated Clinic in which I see patients in longer visits encompassing both medical and psychiatric needs.

Maintain caseload of Family Medicine and Psychiatry patients and manage chronic health conditions, implement preventive health care including Well Woman and Well Male exams, manage chronic mental health issues, and coordinate with outside specialists.

Metro Community Provider Network (MCPN), August 2009—January 2012

  • Produce in-depth consultation notes back to primary providers on patients referred for psychiatric assessment and medication initiation. Aim is to not only give extra insight into each patient, but also to educate primary providers on rationale for medication choices; risks, benefits, and side effects; and normal dosing parameters and titration.
  • Maintain caseload of Family Medicine patients and manage chronic health conditions, preventive health care including Well Woman, Well Male, and Well Child exams, and coordination with outside specialists.
