Good morning, NOHS! These are your headlines for February 25th
RENAISSANCE CARDS: If you received a Gold or White Renaissance card or were on the Honor Roll for the 2ND QUARTER there will be a reception with doughnuts, milk and juice in the Eagles Room On TUESDAY, March 1 from 7:15AM-8:15AM. Mrs. Horn will have a list at the door if you are not sure if you received an honor.
MACBETH: Eagle’s Nest Theatre’s production of MACBETH: OFF KILTER is very a funny spin on Macbeth. It stars Scotty Macbeth who is a high school senior at Highland High School. Some goth sisters convince him that he should be class president, not his friend Duncan. His drive to be President leads him down a dark path of deception and even expulsion from school.
Come and see MACBETH: OFF KILTER on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. or on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.. All tickets for this production are only $5.00. Remember that entrance to Eagle’s Nest Theatre is from the Revere parking lot.
GIRLS BASKETBALL: All Girls Basketball players please turn in your Uniforms to Mr. Naples in 943 ASAP!!
BOYS TENNIS: There will be mandatory tennis meeting for all boys interested in playing tennis this spring on Monday, February 29, immediately after school in Coach DeMain's Room 834. This meeting will not take long. If you are unable to attend this meeting, you must see Coach DeMain immediately to receive your paper work for the upcoming season. Thank You!
CCP: Attention students interested in CCP! Please plan to attend one of the following informational meetings in the Guidance office during SOAR: On Friday, Feb. 26 during AM SOAR, Wed. March 2 during AM SOAR, Wed. March 2 during PM SOAR. You need to attend one of these meeting times. Please see Mrs. McMullen if you have questions.
TEACHING GRANTS: College Bound Seniors: Are you planning to major in teacher education at a college or university in Ohio? If so, "Lester Marrison Teacher Education Book Grant" applications are available in guidance. The deadline to apply for this generous $1,000.00 grant is May 15, 2016.
FREE ACT/SAT: College Tutors is offering free ACT and SAT practice tests in March. Come see Mrs. Kormos in Guidance for more information.
SCHOLARSHIPS: Seniors considering attending a 2 or 4 year college, trade school, etc. The deadline to pick up cover sheets for the Community Scholarships is Friday, 2/26/2016. Come into Guidance if you need further information. The deadline to submit completed scholarship applications is March 3, 2016 at 3:30 p.m.
BLOOD DRIVE: The Red Cross Blood Drive is TOMORROW. If you signed up to be a donor, be sure to start hydrating now!! Also be sure to eat a good breakfast, the morning of the drive and please bring your ID. Pink appointments lists are outside the Café, main office, and 934 in case you forgot your time.
