Good Afternoon Coaches~
I’m very excited to see you all once again this Thursday! Here is the information you will need to have so that the event runs smoothly. You may want to just send this entire letter and attachments home with each girl tonight or tomorrow so parents can have this information, too.
Entrance fee for adults spectators is $3 and students $2.
When your team arrives you will head into our cafeteria and locate the tables with your schools name on it. The girls can put their coats and bags at their tables.
Please arrive at Creekside no later than 4 o’clock. We dismiss at 3:30 and both parking lots will be pretty messy, but be patient, we won’t start without you! Next year I am shooting for a 4:30 start time.
I’ve included another order of performances for you to send home with your girls so their parents can have a copy, too. Pom is first this year, followed by Cheer performances. Entertainment for the girls and spectators will follow and will take about 20 minutes. Please plan on staying, you won’t want to miss this!
We have FULL concessions, so have girls bring some money for pizza, snacks, and waters!
CHEER ONLY~
We will have a warm-up gym for your use if you are not going to watch your dance team perform. There will be a student council member in our warm-up gym timing, so make sure you have a copy of your music. I will have a boom box in there for your use. You are going to be limited to about 10 minutes to make sure all squads get a chance to warm up.
Send a representative from each squad to the main gym to meet Kera, the DJ, and make sure your music was loaded by us properly. We would not want to have the wrong music play during your performance, so be sure you get the first few seconds of it checked out.
Mascots~ PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring them! The Mascot Dance Off, followed by my 2nd Guy Pom squad, is always the highlight of the evening! Once again, the squads will be brought into the gym and seated along the perimeter of the basketball court to watch them strut their stuff!
Participation ribbons will be given to the coaches at the conclusion of the Guy Pom performance.
NEW THIS YEAR….. T-SHIRTS AND HOODIES!
Attached is the flyer of the 3 choices I selected for the very first Pom/Cheer Exhibition shirts! Please print off and copy the order form and give to every member on your squad. Orders will be taken Thursday night only! There will be a table set up in the lobby to turn orders in. All the information about each item is included on the order form that I have attached. If the girls want to order, please have them turn in their forms and check to the girl at the t-shirt table. The back of all three items has the name of each school in black lettering. The front says 2013 Pom & Cheer Exhibition in zebra print lettering. Super cute!
