Open to non-Pony Club members and Members, but only PC members will qualify for the Junior Series
RING 1 9am start Teams & individuals
Class 1 40cm – Warm up and beginner class – 9yrs and under, assisted and lead reins allowed. Single round no jump off. Specials to be awarded

Area 3 Junior Series: Class 2, 3 4 are qualifiers for the Final of the Area 3 Junior Series in October 2018. The top 2 teams and 4 individuals in each class will qualify, qualification passes down the line if already qualified in a team or as an individual. If you enter classes 1,2,3 & 4 you cannot enter classes 1a, 2a, 3a and 4a, they will run as one class. Competitions will be run by other Area 3 clubs during the season.
Class 2 60cm – 10 Years & under
Class 2a 60cm Open (no team competition)
Class 370cm – 12 Years & under
Class 3a 70cm Open (no team competition)
Class 480cm – 12 Years & under
Class 4a 80cm Open (no team competition)
Class 5 85cm Open (no team competition)
Class 6 95cms Open (no team competition)
Classes 1-5 will all be run single phase (one ring, one round with timed section) Rosettes to 6th place for teams & individuals
All heights stated are the maximum height in the 1st part of the round, the jump off section is timed.

Rules: This competition is run under Pony Club rules 2018; no jewellery is allowed; hard hats must to be worn at all times Tack check will be conducted. No spurs are allowed in classes 1 and 2 and in other classes with DC’s permission only. Jackets and ties or stocks must be worn hair must either be above the collar or securely contained in a hairnet.
This competition is for teams of 3 or 4 members. The best three scores will count. The jump off part of the course will be timed and used in the event of ties and individual places. Team members will also be judged as individuals. . Individuals may enter but will not be eligible for team placing. Only members of the same pony club may form teams (no mixed club teams)
Any objections must be lodged with £20.00 within 15 minutes of the occurrence. This will only be returned if the objection is upheld. The judges’ decision will be final. Horse passports may be checked if requested.
Area 3 Junior Series – to be run under the Pony Club Novice Show Jumping rules 2018 with certain exceptions please see Middleton Hunt PC web site for Rules. Class 1 – Properly fitted grass reins are permitted for safety reasons; All Classes – ages as stated on class description as PC age. Full rules can be downloaded from the Pony Club website.

For these measures to be effective, members of the public and competitors alike must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must comply with the organizers and all Officials and Stewards.
No liability will be accepted by the organizers, or landowners or anyone acting on their behalf for loss, damage, accident, or illness to horse, rider, spectator or any other person or property whatsoever. All non- Pony Club competitors must hold their own public liability insurance cover
