AAG Buddy Program

Goal of the Buddy System: We pair each New England Manager/AD with an Apple American Group Manager/AD to be a lifeline to you for questions and concerns during the transition. We’ve scheduled the AAG General Managers to contact the New England General Managers to introduce themselves and to create a Buddy List by matching up each manager with an AAG Buddy (by department whenever possible).

How does the Buddy System work?

For that initial call from the AAG General Manager our goal is to:

·  Exchange work phone, cell phone and email addresses.

·  Match up your team with theirs (KM with KM, Service Mgr with Service Mrg etc.) by using the Buddy List sheet on page 3.

·  Tell them your history with Applebee’s and ask about theirs.

·  Let you know the entire management team will be there for you when needed.

We’ve asked our AAG Buddies to do the following:

·  Call you at designated times on the schedule to offer support during your training and transition from an ASI employee to an AAG employee.

·  Be available to answer your questions concerning AAG, our policies, procedures and benefits programs.

·  Be a lifeline to you with back office systems, inventory, payroll and ROSnet questions.

Having a scheduled call is great, but knowing you can call your Buddy Restaurant with a question on that first night you close the restaurant by yourself, or at anytime you have a question should give you a secure feeling that the answer is just a phone call away. Each New England manager will have a specific AAG Buddy but also understand that when you call, we’re expecting any available manager at your Buddy restaurant to help!

§  Check out the dates in this document and look over the entire attached list for your buddy assignment.

Our transition timeline:

§  Monday, October 3, 2011 – Your AAG Buddy will call to complete the introductions and set up your Buddy List on page 3. Set up remaining call dates and times.

§  Monday, Oct 31, 2011 – Your AAG Buddy will call to see if you have any questions prior to the Go Live Day.

§  Monday, Nov 7, 2011 – Your AAG Buddy will call to assist with your first Monday morning administrative package sent to the AAG Support Center and with processing payroll on Tuesday night.

§  Monday, Nov 14, 2011 – Your AAG Buddy will call to assist with your second Monday morning administrative package sent to the AAG Support Center.
