Final Exam Format
Part I:
You may use one note card to assist you with this part of the exam. The note card must:
- be 3 inches by 5 inches or smaller
- be handwritten
- be turned in once you have completed Part I of the exam
- Definitions: Below is a list of terms we’ve studied second semester. From this list, I will be choosing SIX that you will have to both define AND give an example of on your final. Each of these will be worth two points; one for the correct definition, and one for a correct example.

- Know the basic beliefs associated with Marxism, as well as the five steps to the communist state.

- Be able to recognize and give examples of Free-Enterprise companies.
- What was Russification? What was its goal?
- Why did German authorities help Lenin return to Russia after exile during the first World War?
Unit VI: Nationalism and WWI
- What is the relationship between propaganda, nationalism, and militarism during WWI?

- What is anti-Semitism?
- What were the Nuremberg Laws? Be able to recognize examples of these laws.
- What happened during Kristallnacht?
- Which country did Hitler invade to begin WWII?
**There will be a large number of skills-based questions on this exam; that is, you will be given charts, graphs, and primary documents and will have to answer questions that go with those items.
Part II:
You may use no notes to assist you with this portion of the exam. The essay questions for the exam are as follows:
Regular Only:
