Assignment: A) Use Indiana Interactive GIS Atlas to answer the following questions.

3)Use Search/Query to “zoom to location” and zoom to Brazil, Indiana.
4)Southwest of Brazil a few miles is a smaller town named Staunton. What county is it in?
5)Use the measure tool and report how far in miles along a straight line is east edge of Staunton from center of Brazil, IN.
6)Use the query tool (change the active layer) and report what Watershed “HUC14” that Staunton is in. (What is the HU_Name.)
7)Pan/zoom until you see the whole HUC14 that Staunton is in. How many confined feeding operations are there in this watershed?
8)Set the active layer to impaired streams and report the “segname” of the impaired stream in this watershed.
9)For the impaired criteria in the query box, a 0 means did not fail a test, a 1 means it did fail a test. What chemical test did this stream segment fail?

Launch Google Earth (start - programs – Google earth)
In the search box enter “Purdue University”
Look at these buildings in 3d by checking “3D Buildings” in LAYERS and checking “Terrain” at bottom of LAYERS list
