  • Development of gold and mesoporous silica nanoparticles for the early detection and treatment of hepatitis C virus infections.
  • Development of novel micro- and nano-drug carriers that can enhance drug efficacy and reduce side effects/toxicity associated with its administration.
  • Design, preparation and characterization of micro- and nanoparticles (polymeric and metallic) for the targeted delivery of therapeutic agents.
  • Formulation and evaluation of oral dosage forms, such as bioadhesive tablets and hydrogels.
  • Characterization of drugs and drug delivery systems using Dynamic Light Scattering,FT-IR, HPLC, 1HNMR, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC).
